Today I will make a review about one product that already famous for skincare addict :D
This Product is ST IVES Scrub which produced by Unilever. I believe that almost all of you already heard about this product.
ST Ives make some variant of face scrub. For example Apricot, oatmeal and at this time we will discuss about Green Tea variant.
This Product packed in the form of tube with leaf picture of green tea in the front side. I bought 170 gr variant which is travel friendly. At the front side we can see what kind of variant the product we bought and its function. This green tea variant claim that it can remove bleackhead and reduce skin redness.
In this product bottom side written by product weight and if we see at the cover contained the date of production and also company which is importing/ circularizing this product.
In this product back side there are production code, expired date, product function , how to use this product and also product composition. In general a product is good to be used before 3 year after date manufacture or 6 months after opened
ST Ives alone carry concept of physical exfoliant by using natural materials. One of them is greentea leaf which represent natural physical exfoliants that able to lift oil and dirt which clogged pore so that can eliminate blackhead and also reduce skin redness.
First we need to know blackhead represent one type of open comedo at skin surface which caused of clogged pores, so that excess oil and dirt will cause incidence of open comedo at skin.
Because its open situation so that can oxidized and will look as black dots on the surface of skin. Mistake of handling or squeeze this comedo can cause pimple or skin irritation. So we have to doing our best to handling this problem.
One of them is by lessening / balancing oil in our skin. First time i tried to use this green tea variant of ST Ives my skin feels not oily at all, however remain to felt smooth and moist.
Sometimes when i am using scrub from another brand which has a harsh scrub my skin become red and feel very dry. But i can say it different when i am using this green tea scrub from ST Ives.
This product doesn’t look like a scrub at all . It has green colour and very soft scrub texture. It has very fresh scent of greentea. I can really smell it scent but didn’t bother me at all because it’s so refreshing.I do really love the scent of this scrub. It makes me relax.
My skin is a sensitive skin and sometimes easily breakout if i scrub my face too hard. But this scrub is very different from another scrub that I have tried. Totally different, in the backside of this product we can see if this product has moderate exfoliating level.
Actually this scrub has small grains of scrub texture and very smooth. According to me scrub like this exactly can clean skin effectively and it also can lessen risk of over exfoliate that can caused skin irritation, especially to who that have sensitive skin like me.
This product is very easy to apply and i use this product while my skin a little wet. This product contain 1% salycilic acid that can use to pimple medication
Sometime after using this scrub I left it during 10 minutes before I rinse. And it does a great job to make my skin very smooth and reduce my skin redness. My skin really felt very smooth and clean. And after using it routine i can see my blackhead decrease.
All Over i very recommend this scrub to who that have acne prone and sensitive skin because it can help to heal pimple. And because it’s very smooth we can use it as daily scrub . Especially to who that like to use make up, this scrub can help us to clean skin perfectly.
Pros : travel friendly, the price is not expensive, can reduce redness and pimple, clean skin perfectly, non paraben, the scrub is very soft, can help to reduce acne scars.
Negative : variant of greentea still difficult to get in indonesia

the price is around 85000 IDR when i bought from onlineshop in Indonesia. The price is very cheap for a good product like this.
